But No Elephants

I have several books from my childhood.  I’m not sure how I ended up with the ones I did. I never know which book belonged to which sibling, but I do know that I had a few favorites.  One of them was But No Elephants. It’s a cute story of a little old lady that takes in animals and…well, you should read the book.  It’s adorable!  Now that Mac reads, he enjoys it as well.

Just another snow day

With all of our snow, I had stopped taking pics of the kids in the snow as they all just seemed to look the same. But this last time, I resurrected the camera and snapped away once again!  I went out at the beginning, but then snapped from the warmth of my couch in the sun room. So each picture has its own special lighting. 🙂

A Grand Old Time

So after everyone had left from our last Christmas celebration, I packed our suitcases for our post-holiday trip to Georgia.

Ready to begin the trip!

On our way, we stopped for a fun dinner and sleep at Robert and Letitia’s.  That was fun, as always. 🙂

The next day we finished our trip to Georgia.  We had a great time hanging out with Tom, Tara, Aimee and Dillon.  The boys were greeted with a treat on their beds at Hotel Stokes.

It was a yo-yo...a fun surprise.

We took a trip to the World of Coke.  Patrick had an epiphany while there…Coke is Coca-cola!  Now he can spot Coca-cola anywhere and makes it a point to remind me that Coke is really Coca-cola. 🙂

After making the boys go to the World of Coke, which was more like a museum to them, and hanging around the house so we could hang with Tom and Tara, we finally took the boys somewhere they could run and scream for awhile.  Tara’s friend knew of a place called Sky Zone…an indoor trampoline park.

And you can see how it went.  Just kids jumping…but they had a blast.  I took this footage for Daddy to see what they did and see Mac’s flips.

Then on to celebrating the New Year!  Aimee was great and had glasses of Gingerale for the boys to toast along with us.

One Last Celebration for Christmas

With the return of the cousins, we had our Christmas celebration with Grandma and Grandpa Rapp and family. It was a fun evening of desserts, treats and of course presents.
